Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu Student-Athletes Win Four Medals at Athletic Championship

Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu (CCKK) proudly celebrates the achievements of five student-athletes who represented the College at the Sacred Heart Inobong: Athletic Championship 2.0, a three-day sporting event featuring a variety of track and field competitions.

The CCKK athletes delivered an outstanding performance, securing four medals across multiple events. Their achievements demonstrated not only their sporting abilities but also the dedication, discipline, and determination required to compete at a high level.

Leading the medal tally was Samuel Soo Ken Yung, a Diploma in Physiotherapy student, who claimed Gold in the High Jump. Mohamad Ervan Bin Mohamad Faizal earned Silver in the 1500m, while Diploma in Early Childhood Education student Arvin Lakius secured Silver in the Javelin. Jeff Liaw Zi Le, from the Diploma in Healthcare programme, added to the College’s achievements with a Bronze medal in the Shot Put.

CCKK also commends Resnito Jenito, a Certificate in Sciences student, for proudly representing the College in the 100m event and demonstrating determination throughout the competition.

Beyond the medals, participation in sporting competitions provides students with valuable opportunities to develop resilience, teamwork, confidence, and perseverance. These achievements reflect Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded students who are encouraged to pursue excellence both academically and through extracurricular activities.
