About The School
The School of Business provides its very own rigorous Diploma and Certificate programmes that enable learners to identify and understand the techniques and theories of successful business, including how to manage finance, the fundamental principles of marketing, and how to create effective strategies. Syllabus also includes understanding the relationships between businesses in different local, national and global environments.
Charles Rundi, Assistant Programme Coordinator
Charles obtained his Diploma in Business Studies and Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) majoring Marketing from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).
Prior to his involvement in the education industry, he accumulated extensive working experience in the banking and financial, and forestry sectors. He started his academician career as a part time tutor for UTM-SPACE programme in 2008. In 2009, he was accepted as a part time tutor at Open University Malaysia, Sandakan Campus.
Part-time lecturing has created a new interest in him. He left the banking and financial sector in 2010 to become a full-time lecturer at Cosmopoint International College, Kota Kinabalu and 4 years later, he joined the Faculty of Business, Aseana International College, Kota Kinabalu. He later joined Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu as a lecturer in 2018 and is currently serving as the Assistant Programme Coordinator for Diploma in Business Studies and Certificate in Business Studies.

Diploma in Business Studies
The course offered is being specifically structured to equip students with a strong foundation in basic business administration, basic accounting and finance as well as other related courses before they embark on the Bachelor in Business Administration programme. This programme provides cutting-edge knowledge and skills that are crucial to the effective and efficient management and operation of a business enterprise. It also opens doors to vast employment opportunities in business related professional fields including finance, management, sales and marketing, human resource management and international business. This Diploma in Business Studies programme can be completed in 2 ½ years.
Certificate In Business Studies
This certificate programme allows students to acquire contemporary business knowledge relevant to students wishing to pursue their diploma level study in the area of business studies. The programme exposes students to a new teaching and learning culture and environment and to be independent and disciplined in managing their studies, away from the schools’ systems they were used to. Our syllabus has been designed to equip students with useful, foundational skills so they can cope with subject knowledge, familiarity with the principles, concepts and technologies for effective preparation into their diploma programme. It also enhances their analytical and creative thinking skills and their ability to act independently and professionally. This Certificate in Business Studies programme can be completed in 15 months.
