About The School

The curriculum of our Diploma in Pharmacy programme aims to equip students with the fundamental know-how to dispensing and compounding medicine. The comprehensive learning environment at Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu will provide students with the foundation required to pursue a career in pharmacy or to continue to a bachelor programme.

 

Mr Brandon Ling,
Programme Coordinator

Graduated from National University of Singapore with Bachelor degree in Pharmacy, Brandon began his clinical pharmacy profession in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (Singapore) in 2007 where he had the opportunity to join clinical ward rounds with doctors in various disciplines, namely Geriatric, Cardiovascular and Infectious Disease. The interest in drug treatment has brought him to pharmacy profession.

Later, he joined the Anticoagulation Clinic team that helps to titrate anticoagulant dose of patients who had prior history of stroke, deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. In 2010, he joined the Institute of Mental Health (Singapore) and had the chance to be part of Psychiatric team.

In 2012, he returned to Malaysia and joined a retail pharmacy as a retail pharmacist for five years before deciding to shift to teaching. He joined Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu as a Pharmacy lecturer since 2017.

Diploma in Pharmacy

This programme will provide students with Basic Science subjects (Mathematics, Physiology, Microbiology), Pharmacy core subjects (Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry) and Compulsory subjects such as English and Mata Pelajaran Umum (MPU).
