About The School
The School of Social Sciences offers its very own Psychology programme. This programme is concerned with how individuals within the society behave, influence and interact with each other.
Azlaily Jufri,
Programme Coordinator
Azlaily Binti Jufri is a registered professional counselor under the Malaysia Board of Counsellors since 2018. She completed her Bachelor of Psychology with Honours, majoring in Child and Family Psychology, in 2013. In 2018, she obtained her Master Counseling Psychology from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).
She has been working in the education sector since 2014, first as a tutor in Open University Malaysia, and later on as in-house counsellor in several private colleges after being registered as a professional counsellor. She also obtained research skills such as analyzing research data using SPPS during her days as research assistant in UMS, as well as handle multiple research grants.
Azlaily joined Asia Metropolitan College Kota Kinabalu in August 2019 as Lecturer cum Counselor and later appointed as Programme Coordinator for Diploma in Psychology in 2021.

Diploma in Psychology
The Diploma in Psychology programme that is offered can be completed in 2 years 8 months duration. This programme aims to provide learners with a piece of fundamental knowledge in psychology, human behaviour, and mental processes.
