On the 22nd of June 2023, the Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu (CCKK) Kaamatan Festival was held, showcasing the vibrant culture and traditions of Sabah's harvest festival. The event featured two highly anticipated competitions: The Miss Kaamatan and the Sugandoi competition.
In the Miss Kaamatan competition, the participants displayed grace, poise, and traditional beauty. The results of the competitions are as follows:
Miss Kaamatan 2023:
1st Place - Clayrina Bitol (Diploma in Nursing)
2nd Place - Venna Pindah (Diploma in Pharmacy)
3rd Place - Ivy Davina David (Diploma in Healthcare
Clayrina Bitol emerged as the victor, capturing the hearts of the judges and the audience with her charm and charisma. She was crowned by the previous year's winner, Eulalia Leo, passing on the prestigious title to the new queen.
The Sugandoi competition was another highlight of the CCKK festival. Sugandoi, a KDMR singing competition, showcased the participants' vocal prowess and ability to entertain.The winners of the CCKK Sugandoi 2023 were announced as follows:
First place: Helvin Dave Domianus (Diploma in Healthcare)
Second place: Pretty Ayllora Pishon (Certificate in Science)
Third place: Siti Alma Sufinah bt Masran (Diploma in Nursing)
The Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu Kaamatan Festival 2023 was a resounding success, honoring the spirit of the Kaamatan festival and providing a platform for participants to showcase their talents and cultural heritage.
